Montreal, April 21, 2026 — As part of its InnovAction Conference, held in conjunction with its Annual General Meeting, the Association for the Development of Research and Innovation in Quebec (ADRIQ) officially launched NUMERI, an initiative supported by the Ministry of Economy, Innovation, and Energy (MEIE) that aims to bring together and mobilize excellence in digital support for businesses to make every digital transformation a true driver of sustainable growth.
In the presence of several partners, including the MEIE, the Quebec Innovation Council, Investissement Québec, and the Mouvement Québécois de la Qualité, ADRIQ—which is tasked with driving this initiative—announced the launch of its website and officially kicked off the membership drive to join NUMERI, as well as the certification program that recognizes professionals capable of supporting businesses in their digital transformation with rigor, objectivity, and strategic vision.
“By bringing together and recognizing excellence in digital support in Quebec—particularly through certification—NUMERI will help strengthen a trustworthy ecosystem, contribute to the professional development of digital support experts, and provide a clear benchmark for businesses and stakeholders in the sector,” said Frédéric Alberro, President and CEO of ADRIQ.
Findings That Call for Action
Supporting businesses in their digital transformation through qualified experts is a key driver of performance and a recognized strength of Quebec’s ecosystem. However, amid rapidly evolving technologies and a growing number of stakeholders, approaches vary, deliverables are inconsistent, and businesses have few benchmarks to assess the credibility of experts.
NUMERI addresses this challenge by introducing a rigorous, independent certification process, as well as a directory of verified experts. This is not a support program, but rather a community of digital support professionals who wish to contribute to their own professional development and to recognize and promote excellence.
NUMERI: A Common Framework, Rigorous Certification
NUMERI brings together professionals in the field of digital support under a common framework of quality, ethics, and expertise, certifying experts who are evaluated by an independent committee according to stringent criteria related to their experience, the quality of their assessments, their strategic capabilities, and their professionalism.

• Certification: a rigorous 5-step process, validated by an independent committee
• Visibility and Directory: recognition and promotion of excellence in digital support, as well as a tool for SMEs to find a certified expert based on the required expertise, their industry, or their region
• Community of Practice: a space for discussion, knowledge sharing, and professional development
Beyond certification, NUMERI aims to serve as a collective catalyst for advancing best practices and strengthening the innovation capacity of Quebec businesses.
