Lean Master Certification - Module 5 - Diamond Level
Lean complements and programme integration.
Description of the course
If you are now a Lean Master at platinum level and have decided to further develop your skills and knowledge of Lean, module 5 is for you.
This module, led by a team of trainers specialised in their respective fields, is dedicated to complementary topics to Lean and to some supporting tools allowing the Lean Master practitioner to go one step further in their understanding of the Lean approach.
The three main topics covered in this module are
- Lean Accounting to improve the financial management of organisations
- The kata approach, to implement small improvements in daily life
- The TWI approach to training on the job
In addition, 2 complementary tools are also covered in this module: SMED and OPL.
This module is part of the Lean Mastercertification programme
Pre-requisite: Module 4 of the programme
For online training, meeting invitations will be sent to you 48 hours in advance and will contain the web links to access the training. Make sure you have the necessary equipment to be able to hear and communicate with the trainer! The material will be sent to you as a link or PDF file to your email address.
General objective
This module enables the Lean Master practitioner to better support, as an internal consultant, the Lean approach in their organisation.

Practical work:
An A3 proposal (Terms of Reference) must be submitted first and counts for 20% of the final score.
The second part counting for 80% is assessed in an oral presentation format and can be on any of the following three topics:
- Implementation of the kata
- Implementing a dashboard
- Facilitation of a kaizen site (if not done in module 3)
The total effort invested adds up to about 32 hours for both jobs.
