Lean Master Certification - Module 5 - Diamond Level

For online training, meeting invitations will be sent to you 48 hours in advance and will contain the web links to access the training. Make sure you have the necessary equipment to be able to hear and communicate with the trainer! The material will be sent to you as a link or PDF file to your email address.

General objective

This module enables the Lean Master practitioner to better support, as an internal consultant, the Lean approach in their organisation.

• Recognise and understand the logic behind Leanmanagement
• Know the basic principles of Lean Accounting
• Understand what the kata approach entails and be able to implement it as part of a daily performance management system
• Be able to understand the TWI task training method and implement some of the practices related to this method in order to standardise certain working methods
• Be able to use SMED in a Leanimprovement workshop
• Be able to document lessons learned (via improvement workshops or problem solving) using OPL (One Point Lesson)

Practical work:

An A3 proposal (Terms of Reference) must be submitted first and counts for 20% of the final score.

The second part counting for 80% is assessed in an oral presentation format and can be on any of the following three topics:

• Implementation of the kata
• Implementing a dashboard
• Facilitation of a kaizen site (if not done in module 3)

The total effort invested adds up to about 32 hours for both jobs.
