Day-to-day management in a digital environment

A look at the future practices of managers.

Description of the course

The world is changing rapidly. It evolves with the new technologies available. In this context, what about the manager? What is their role? How can he or she make the most of these technological advances on a daily basis?

The third industrial revolution has radically changed the way we manufacture. Today, the interconnectivity of systems and the technologies available allow us to obtain a large amount of operational data. This redefines management processes at all levels of the organisation.

The fourth revolution will certainly change the practices of managers.

How do you reconcile "democratic" tools, such as whiteboards, with all the data that will soon become ubiquitous in your organisation? How do you avoid duplication of information? How can you make the most of real-time indicators while maintaining a human approach? What will managers do on a floor tour of the future? How can you maximize the benefits of digital technology without abandoning day-to-day management practices that mobilize employees towards the growth of the organization?

This course is one of the six required to obtain the Digital Strategist certification. However, it can be taken on an à la carte basis.

Prerequisite: Relevant workplace experience and basic knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement tools

If the above prerequisite is not met and specifically for this course, the Introduction to Lean course is mandatory prior to your registration.

For online training, meeting invitations will be sent to you 48 hours in advance and will contain the web links to access the training. Make sure you have the necessary equipment to be able to hear and communicate with the trainer! The material will be sent to you as a link or PDF file to your email address.
