TWI (Training Within Industry) - Work Instructions

The use of IT enables consistent training, which ensures a stable process on which to base a Lean approach.

Description of the course

Developed by the Americans during the Second World War, the Training Within Industry (TWI) approach is said to have contributed to the Allied victory.

Work instructions are the first element of the TWI method, of which there are four:

  • Job Instruction
  • Job Methods
  • Job relations (Relations de travail)
  • Continuous Improvement(Program Development)

Because they allow a large number of people to be trained efficiently and in a short time, Work Instructions (WI) remain a tool to be mastered in an era when more and more experts in a field must train the next generation before they retire.

For online training, meeting invitations will be sent to you 48 hours in advance and will contain the web links to access the training. Make sure you have the necessary equipment to be able to hear and communicate with the trainer! The material will be sent to you as a link or PDF file to your email address.
