Performance Network Policy

The Mouvement québécois de la qualité has set up Performance Networks to allow organizational leaders or quality and continuous improvement directors from member organizations to exchange best business practices. The Performance Networks meetings take place four to five times a year, in the member organisations of the Network and in absolute confidentiality.

To ensure that the Networks function properly, the Quebec Society for Quality has adopted a Network management policy that requires MQQ staff, members and facilitators to follow certain operating principles and rules.

Who can participate (criteria)

Only organizational leaders and quality and continuous improvement directors and managers who are members of the Quebec Society for Quality may participate in a Performance Network. Consultants, students, professors and organizations with less than 10 employees may not participate in a Performance Network.

Limited access and acceptance procedure

Any organization that meets the acceptance rules is entitled to free access to a Network.

The organization’s representative determines who will participate in a Network. It is important to note that:

• The MQQ determines which Network the organization can join (administrative region, sector, space available, etc.) and nominates the organization to members of the Network.
• The organization must be accepted by the group and comply with the following rules: not have a conflict of interest with any organization participating in the network (customer, supplier or competitor). If the group refuses to accept the organization, the organization must accept that the Network’s decision is irrevocable.
• Upon request, an organization wishing to join a group is granted guest status. The guest will be able to attend a meeting and participate in discussions before confirming that they would like to permanently join the group. Guests are subject to the ethics and confidentiality rules of the Performance Networks.
• Si l’organisation membre désire inscrire une personne supplémentaire (par exemple le dirigeant souhaite inscrire le directeur ou la directrice qualité à un Réseau distinct), des frais de 325 $ seront facturés annuellement aux membres additionnels. Il est important de souligner que deux personnes de la même organisation ne peuvent siéger sur le même Réseau.

Les Ambassadeurs

À titre d’Ambassadeur, les organisations peuvent inscrire jusqu’à trois personnes dans des Réseaux différents, et ce, sans frais additionnels. Cependant, les mêmes règles d’acceptation et les mêmes formalités s’appliquent.
