4D – Root Cause Analysis
  • The core of the training, demonstrating how to use the Ishikawa diagram and the 5 Whys technique to identify the root causes of a problem.
  • Introduction to an innovative Microsoft PowerPoint tool for facilitating an Ishikawa diagram session with your team.
  • Lots of practical tips for choosing the right causes once the diagram is complete.
5D – Solution Development

How to select the best solutions using convergence tools such as the GICS matrix and the weighted matrix.

6D – Implementation of Solutions

How to effectively monitor the implementation of solutions.

7D – Prevention of recurrence

How can we track the effectiveness of the solutions implemented to address the problem?

8D – Team Recognition

How to foster a culture in which preventing problems is valued at least as much as the time spent in a crisis trying to fix them.
