The Kata Approach

Work together to make the most of everyone's talents.

Course Description

An organization’s greatest competitive advantage is its workforce. But do we know how to make the most of this rough diamond?

The kata approach lies at the heart of the highly effective process that laid the foundation for Toyota’s success. This approach aims to consistently achieve the desired solutions through the coordinated and iterative use of the improvement kata and the talents of every employee in the organization.

Whether you’re a manager, production supervisor, or team leader, you’ll also develop your coaching skills through the coaching kata. You’ll find great value in the role-playing exercises and problem-solving simulations, which will help you develop your instincts for improvement.

When applied on a daily basis, kata will instill the samurai spirit in your management and operations teams and turn your employees into problem-solving warriors!
