The purpose of this code is to preserve and strengthen the bond of trust between
members of the Performance Network.

  1. Members undertake to :
    1. be an institutional member of the Mouvement québécois de la qualité;
    2. keep confidential any personal or organizational information from other network members, applicable also in the case of a special guest and in the discussions and documents shared in the Performance Networks online community;
    3. attend a minimum of 4 out of 5 meetings per year (or 3 out of 4, or 2 out of 3 depending on the total number of meetings of the network). In the event of absence or inability to attend, the member may not appoint another person from his or her organisation, unless the group agrees otherwise (see the network's operating procedures).
  2. Any content submitted by a member of the Performance Network may be reproduced provided that the author's permission is obtained and the source is acknowledged.
  3. It is agreed not to target or solicit employees of other network members who have been met through the network (presentations, meetings, company visits, etc.). Furthermore, it is agreed that the Performance Networks are not a showcase to post a job offer or to promote the member organization. This rule is also applicable in the Performance Network online community.
  4. The member contributes, to the best of his/her knowledge, to the achievement of the objectives set by the group.
  5. The member is available to receive the whole group, when the organisation has a conference room and it is free on the suggested date.
  6. The member prepares accordingly during a meeting.
  7. The member keeps an open mind and does not rush to judgment.
  8. When the member leaves the Performance Network, he/she shall, as far as possible, ensure that a replacement is found in his/her company.
  9. When a member loses his/her job, he/she is entitled to attend a subsequent meeting. They may return to the group provided that their organisation is accepted by the group and meets the following rules: it must not be in conflict with any organisation participating in the network (client, supplier or competitor). If the organisation is refused entry to the group, it will have to accept the irrevocable nature of the network's decision.

Relationships between network members are based on sharing, listening, helping each other and are driven by a passion for improving best practice.
